Briarfield Dental Care Dental Warranty

In our office we strive for perfection and 100% satisfaction with every patient. We are proud of our services and what they do for our patients. Our goal is to correct any dental problems you may have and show you how to prevent dental disease in the future saving you time and unnecessary expenses.

The long term success of the dental treatment we provide for you depends upon your continuing home care of your teeth and gums, regular professional exams, cleanings, x-rays and fluoride treatments. The products we recommend for you and the frequency of your professional recare visits depends on your individual condition. Those visits may be every 2,3,4, or 6 months apart depending on your oral health. With that in mind we offer the following limited dental warranties:

Crowns, Bridges, Inlays, Onlays and Veneers

We will warranty these comprehensive procedures for 5 years. We will replace or repair them at no additional charge during this 5 year period if they break or are lost with normal use (this does not include accidents that could break normal healthy teeth). Decay is not covered by this policy.

Dentures and Partial Dentures

We will warranty dentures and partials for a period of 5 years if a tooth or the denture breaks under normal use. Accidents such as dropping your denture or having it chewed by a pet are not covered. Due to the nature of dentures, we cannot guarantee your comfort or ability to accommodate these artificial replacements. Full upper and lower denture patients must be seen once every 12 months to honor the warranty. Patients with any natural teeth must keep up with their prescribed recare appointments (minimum recare appointment 6 months). Denture or partial relines are not covered by this warranty.

Composite Fillings

If a composite restoration is the recommended treatment of choice, we will replace or repair it in the event of failure with normal use for a period of 2 years from the date of initial placement. Recurrent decay is not covered.

Dental Sealants

If our dental sealants are in need of repair with normal use during a period of 2 years from the date of initial placement, we will replace or repair them at no additional charge.

Conditions

To keep this warranty valid you must:

1. Maintain uninterrupted membership in our practice.
2. Keep your prescribed regular recare appointments (with no appointment varying more than (15) fifteen days of our recommended schedule).
3. Maintain your account in good standing.
4. Have all recommended dental treatment(s) performed by Dr. Stuckey or our hygienists at Briarfield Dental Care, including the treatment of jaw-occlusal dysfunction and use of bruxism guards, if recommended.

This warranty does not include anything not mentioned above, including gum line desensitization, root canal therapy, night guards, nor does it cover damage to teeth or dental prothesis caused by accidents, trauma, neglect or improper use (e.g., grinding, clenching, chewing ice or biting non food items).

Although many factors can affect the longevity of a restoration, we have confidence that with proper care and regular preventative maintenance, restorations placed in our office can serve well for many years. Prevention is a critical factor in prolonging the life of dental work. You can prevent many dental problems by being consistent with your home care, brushing, flossing, and any other home treatments recommended by Dr. Stuckey or your dental hygienist. Additionally, regular professional cleanings, x-rays, and exams allow problems to be spotted early when they may be more easily resolved. Failure to have these regular visits with our office voids all warranties.
